Send manga to your Kindle漫
Amazon’s Send to Kindle is a good service with one gap that matters here: it does not accept CBZ or CBR. Those are the formats manga and comics actually come in, so a volume straight from your drive cannot be sent by any of Amazon’s routes. It has to be converted into something Kindle takes first, which is what this site does.

The second wall is size. Send to Kindle rejects files over roughly 50MB, and a print-resolution manga volume is routinely several times that. Converting for your exact Kindle model solves both problems at once: the output is an EPUB that Send to Kindle accepts, and rebuilding pages for the real screen usually pulls the volume under the limit while rendering sharper than the oversized original.

How to get a manga volume onto your Kindle
- 1
Convert it for your Kindle model
Drop in the CBZ, CBR, CB7, ZIP, RAR, 7Z, PDF or EPUB and pick your Kindle: Paperwhite, Scribe, Colorsoft, Oasis, Kindle 11 and the rest all have real profiles. The output is an EPUB built for that screen.
- 2
Or send it to your shelf and skip the computer
Choose To e-reader on the finished file and it goes to your account’s shelf, which you can open from a reader’s own browser with a 6 digit code. This is the quickest route on a Kobo or Boox; on Kindle the browser usually refuses downloads, so prefer the routes below.
- 3
Send it with Amazon’s Send to Kindle
Email the EPUB to your Send to Kindle address, drop it on Amazon’s Send to Kindle web page, or use the desktop app or browser extension. The book arrives over Wi-Fi and joins your Amazon library.
- 4
Or copy it across with a USB cable
The Kindle mounts as a drive; copy the EPUB into its documents folder and eject. There is no size limit on this route, so it is the dependable answer for an omnibus that stays over 50MB even after conversion.
Convert first, then pick any route you like
The conversion is the part that has to happen. Once you hold a device-fit EPUB, email, the Send to Kindle app, our wireless shelf and a USB cable all deliver the same file, and you can use whichever is in front of you.
Picking your actual model matters
Over a recent fourteen day window 67.5% of people here chose a named e-reader preset rather than a bare format, and that is the right instinct: pages built for the exact screen grid render sharper and weigh less than pages the device has to rescale.
Frequently asked questions
Can I send a CBZ or CBR straight to my Kindle?
No. Send to Kindle’s accepted list covers EPUB, PDF, DOC, DOCX, TXT, RTF, HTM, HTML and common image types. Comic archives are not on it, so a CBZ has to be converted first whichever delivery route you then use.
What is the Send to Kindle file size limit?
Around 50MB per file on Amazon’s side. Note that the 25MB figure people often quote is their email provider’s attachment cap rather than Amazon’s, so sending through a different route can clear it. Converting with a device profile is the fix that addresses the cause: a volume rebuilt for the actual screen is usually a fraction of the print-resolution original.
Did Amazon stop USB transfers?
Not for your own files. In February 2025 Amazon removed Download and Transfer via USB, which was the option for downloading books you had purchased from Amazon. Copying a personal document such as a converted manga volume onto the Kindle over USB still works exactly as it always did.
EPUB or MOBI?
EPUB. Amazon dropped MOBI from Send to Kindle in 2022, and every Kindle profile here outputs EPUB, which is what the service wants. Amazon converts it to its own format on arrival, so the book behaves like any other in your library.
Which route is fastest?
If you own a Kobo or Boox, the wireless shelf, because the file goes computer to device with nothing in between. On a Kindle, Send to Kindle by email or the app, because the Kindle browser will usually not complete a download. USB is the one that never fails at any size.
Conversion runs on Kindle Comic Converter (KCC), the open-source engine, hosted here with a live preview so there is nothing to install. Delivery to the device is Amazon’s service, our wireless shelf or a cable, whichever suits you.
