Let the Pages tab point out what does not belong
Scanlator credit pages, store adverts, a duplicated cover, a scan fed sideways: every volume has a few, and today you find them by looking. The planned Suggestions button in the Pages tab looks first. It badges the pages it is not sure about, colour pages and likely credits and rotated scans, and offers each fix as a suggestion you accept or ignore. Nothing is removed until you say so. We are being straight with you: it is not live yet, so this page does not offer it.
What the Pages tab does today: every page of the open file as a grid of thumbnails, with remove, restore and set as cover on each page. The thumbnails are the same ones the suggestions will run on, so this feature costs no extra download and no extra memory.
Page suggestions are coming soon
This feature is planned, not live yet. Remove pages by hand from the Pages tab in the meantime.

Badge, do not apply
A page the detector doubts gets a small mark: Credits, Colour, Rotated. The mark is a question, not a change. Nothing ships differently until you accept a suggestion.
Likely credits and adverts
Last-page position, filename patterns, unusually small files and pages that repeat across the queue are the signals. Accepting the suggestion removes the pages the way the menu does today.
Colour pages, named
The same measurement the preview uses to warn about colour gets run per page, so the Keep colour setting is about pages you can point at, not a guess about the whole book.
Runs in your browser, on thumbnails
Every detector works on the small thumbnails the grid already decoded. Full pages are never decoded for it, which keeps the tab light on phones.
Honesty first
A detector that quietly dropped a story page would be worse than none. Suggestions ship as suggestions, with the accept step in your hands.
The Pages tab helps now
Remove, restore and set as cover are live on every page, and Select many removes a set of pages in one go.
Frequently asked questions
Can I get suggestions right now?
Not yet, and we will not pretend otherwise. The button is in the Pages tab, marked Soon, so you can see where it will be. Remove, restore and set as cover are live on every page.
Will it remove pages on its own?
No. A removed page cannot be undone after a conversion has run, so every suggestion waits for you to accept it. Badges only mark; the menu still does the removing.
Does it upload my pages to a server for analysis?
No. The detectors run in your browser on the thumbnails already on screen. Conversion itself still happens on our servers, as it does today.
Will you announce when it is ready?
Yes. When it ships the Soon mark comes off the button and this page hosts the feature. You can vote for it on the roadmap in the meantime.
MangaConverter runs on Kindle Comic Converter (KCC), the open-source engine, for the conversions that are live today. Page suggestions are planned client-side analysis in front of that pipeline, and this page will host them honestly once they work.
